The home of Anatole Kurdsjuk, Author and Speaker
In the Spring of 2005, Anatole Kurdsjuk published his first book, The Long Walk Home with Miracles Along The Way, an historical memoir recounting his family's life and struggles during the birth of Communism in the Soviet Union, the Stalinist purges of the 1920's and 30's, and ultimately through Nazi occupation and imprisonment during the Second World War. Since its release The Long Walk Home has been lauded as an amazing tale of love, courage and strength through adversity, imparting a very personal viewpoint on some of the most troubling times of the Twentieth Century.
Mr. Kurdsjuk has since been busy with appearances promoting the book, as well as with speaking engagements up and down the East Coast of the US. Anatole's presentations range from recounting the story of his family and their struggles during the Stalinist and Nazi regimes, to speaking about life in general during the historic and tragic eras of Josef Stalin and Adolf Hitler. He has served both as keynote speaker and panel member during discussions on World War II and its impact on modern times and thinking.
We invite you to browse this site and learn more about the book and about how you can have Anatole Kurdsjuk speak at your next group meeting or function.
